NOTHING IS MORE DANGEROUS THAN AN IDEA WHEN YOU ONLY HAVE ONE IDEA.

Ruling the country entails carrying out a huge responsibility for every citizen. All that matters is to look after people despite their political and religious affiliations. The primary fiduciary responsibility of every president or prime minister is to protect the nation; ensure stability and prosperity of everyone regardless.
In a democracy, the same way it is in the monarchy, the ruling elite takes care of itself at the expense of the people who put them in power. Some progressive ideas are suppressed, especially if the source is someone or an organisation that is not sympathetic to the looting of the ruling party and oligarchy.
Ideas can destroy the power of the leadership. An example, I would like to point out is that some African presidents who are expected to be motivated and lead their people honestly and diligently consider their pockets and stomachs first. They reach their personal and family goals, before serving the aspirations of the citizens.  That is why they end up fighting when it is time to elect a new president.
Perhaps, it should be stipulated in the country’s constitution that at least 85% of the majority votes should be reached by a party in the national elections before a certain president could be charged after their term of office. The fear of prosecution for the horrible deeds African presidents commit is halting progress. Can anyone explain the ignominy of some rulers who think that only their ideas remain fresh and relevant even after many decades in power that there is no other brilliant person to take over the high office?
In South Africa, one of the greatest and intellectually gifted, a Westminsterian by training and enculturation while smoking a Scottish pipe evoking some whiskied Shakespearian allegory of African Renaissance was recalled. No blood was shed. Perhaps, the “pipe dream” had not enough wind to be puffed in that direction.  Had no balls to challenge his distractor!
A new don’t-touch-the-South-African-Communist-Party ideologue came to be the President without any suggestion of grand vision for Africa and the poor. He is now famous for murdering “the young lions” because he needs theirs skin to concoct the second term in office. There comes a charlatan who signed the death warrant of President Murmur Gadhafi who spoke highly of United States of Africa under the tutelage of Pan Africanism, African Nationalism and Black Consciousness. Perhaps, the article should read, “Nothing is dangerous than having your ideas sponsored in London or in D.R.C”.
